Butchie the Bicycle is a story about a hand-me-down bicycle.

Enjoy Butchie's colorful adventures through generations of bike riders who find their balance and a bicycle who finds his purpose. This classic book will give readers a feeling of nostalgia and connection to this adorable character.

Robin Paige, the creator of Butchie the Bicycle, started writing her life story years ago and her fond memories of learning to ride a hand-me-down bike inspired this book. Her father, Butch, would take her and her sister on long bike rides along the C&D canal where they grew up. She resides in beautiful Chester County, Pennsylvania, with her family, three rescue dogs and is working on more children's books and a novel. She decided this character, "Butchie," needed to meet the world and little readers everywhere. Her goal for this book was to provide the readers with a feeling of nostalgia and connection with Butchie.
