Author/artist is well-known Swedish illustrator- this is his first children's book. The tale of Lucas, a bird without a home and three children with an empty birdcage. Book is very good+ in near fine DJ. Shadow (from sticker) on flyleaf.

Good condition book in a Good condition dustjacket with some browning to spine, inch long closed tear to top edge of back cover, heavy spine rubs, chips, rubs and creases around its edges. Owner's inscription on front free endpaper. with a blue ink squiggle on page 19, 51 and front free endpaper. Tight sound copy.

Softcover with VG pages (slight edge soiling, otherwise unmarked) and good-minus exterior (light soiling along lower front panel, 3cm of nearby edge worn 5mm away). The dust jacket is missing an 8x5cm piece over the soiled area, with smaller chips and tears elsewhere. Apparently this is a Swedish version, translated from the Norwegian, but my knowledge of Scandinavian languages is scant; the first sentence begins: "De allra forsta var elva trahastar. . .[umlauts omitted]" 137 pages. [10oz]. Book.
