Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book provides insights into methods used for land ownership, transfer, and conveyance, examines defects in the application of these methods, as well as their implications for title in land. The author presents a historical and comparative examination of legal conveyance concepts from the feudal era through modern times. The text makes a coherent analysis of how issues with transfers have evolved over time, and how these issues can be addressed. Through the discussion of case law and legislation from feudal times through the 19th century, the author highlights negative consequences and potential remedies for issues that arose in title transfers and conveyance, including uncertainties over land ownership and interests, complex legal interests, and expenses associated with complex and time-consuming methods of conveyance. This book is a relevant resource for legal practitioners and legal scholars, as well as anyone interested in the historical development of land ownership and property law. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
