Signed presentation copy from the author to the 'Sporting Padre', Rev. John Kerr. "To The Rev John Kerr with much regard and in token of all he has done for the history literature and practise of golf from W W Tulloch 1907". Later inscription at the top of the page presenting it to the Edinburgh Thistle Golf Club by ( C J McIntire?) May 1947. Bound in pictorial cloth. Wear to spine ends and corners. Small edge knock at top and bottom of rear board. Front free end paper dusty. Sporadic foxing and tanning to margins of some pages. Tipped in contemporary newspaper obituary of Tom Morris from the 'Scotsman' on bookseller advert at rear and a loose newspaper death notice of the author W W Tulloch. These have caused brown markings on the advert and the last page of the index facing it. There is also a fragment, in 3 pieces, of the original dj from the lower part of the spine.approx 10 x 6cms.
