Very scarce Norman Lindsay first, a limited edition signed by Norman Lindsay and the printer, Ralph Straus, Number 53 of 250. With an introduction by S. Gaselee, and Latin text on the left page & English translation at the right. With a description and invoice dated 1970 from Chas J. Sawyer, London booksellers, loosely inserted. With the bookplate of H C Plimmer inside front cover. Folio, frontis, xv, 303pp, uncut, teg. Quarter cream vellum and blue-gray boards, with title in black at front cover and gold gilt title and date at spine. Vellum a little dusty, boards a little marked, corners a little rubbed, rear cover spine cracking and there is a small tear in the spine. N° de réf. du vendeur 15397
