Dust jacket shows the most wear: head and tail of spine chipped; spine tanned from shelf-wear; top edge of front cover chipped; top corner of front flap torn & previously repaired with clear tape; hinges creased with soiling; toning around edges. Cloth boards normally scuffed at edges and worn/bumped at corners. Head and tail of spine bumped; gilt lettering overall bright and clean. Top edge stained red (dulled). Toning through text-block, mostly at edges of leaves. Binding tight and intact. Please see photos. Saul David Alinsky (1909 1972) was an American community activist and political theorist. His work through the Chicago-based Industrial Areas Foundation helping poor communities organize to press demands upon landlords, politicians, bankers and business leaders won him national recognition and notoriety.
