Parker Norris and published by Gebbie and Barrie in Philadelphia in 1874 folio, ca 13" x 16" x 3" (in box)in 25 ORIGINAL PARTS as published and sold to the public. Each part has 4 Heliotype prints along with excerpts of Shakespeare's writing. Each of the 25 parts are placed in blue paper wraps to make a thin volume or part. Bound copies of the 25 parts are scarce, a complete set of the original parts is very scarce. The plates and text are in very good condition. The blue paper wraps, have more wear, two parts have tears that project into the covers, most tears are along folds. The publishers state that the original prints by Boydell were virtually unobtainable by 1870, and this motivated the present production. (Note that this is NOT a copy of the complete set of Boydell's work) The set is housed in a very sturdy clamshell box. Price includes shipping within the USA. Shipping outside the USA will cost more.
