General title page dated 1782, parts dated August 1781- July 1792, (there are 2 parts for February, a printing mistake, the first February should have been printed January, this mistake is mentioned on the second February title page), DEFECTIVE COPY LACKING PAGES 49-56;155-158; 477-482, making a total of 19 pages missing, AND ALL ENGRAVED PLATES APART FROM THE ENGRAVED FRONTISPIECE. Pages: [10], 11-48, 57-154, 159-476, 483- 494, the 4 pages of index bound out of order at end, should have been bound at the front, printed in double column, modern quarter speckled calf with green gilt lettered title label to spine, gilt rule and gilt date to spine, marbled boards, new brown endpapers. Ink number to first pastedown, pale foxing to engraved frontispiece, edge of first free endpaper slightly ragged, stab holes to inner margins, ink spot to first page of index, occasional age toning, occasional pale staining and small fox spot. A good copy. The magazines include: includes ephemerides, charts of planetary positions on specific dates, essays on dreams, prophecies, magic and alchemy, biographies of magicians, puzzles and magic tricks.
