Translated from the French. Presumed first edition thus. Printed in Spain, August 2007. Approx. 12.5 x 9.25 inches. Full-color pictorial glossy paper hardboards. Generally unbumped spine head and tail, and sharp corners save for almost unnoticeable bump to lower front corner. Exceptionally clean binding. Text block firmly bound in and tight. A detailed description of the German soldier’s field tunic throughout the Second World War, in all its aspects: history, symbolism, manufacturing, evolution, insignia, etc., from the pre-war dress uniform to the shabby utilitarian garment of 1945. The Feldbluse (field blouse) was the primary service and combat tunic for the German Army (Heer) and Waffen-SS from 1933-1945, evolving from high-quality wool with dark green collars (M36) to simplified, functional designs (M43/M44) due to wartime shortages. Description de la boutique

Welcome to the books platform of Marc Sena Carrel. I operated a professional book business between 2003 and 2017 in the San Francisco Bay Area, including via AbeBooks, and I am now a private party selling off fine books from my personal collection. I carry a choice selection of books, prints and ephemera for the discriminating customer. I focus on scholarly and antiquarian books, with a special emphasis on art books. From time to time I also offer original prints, including but not limited to antique Japanese ukiyo-e prints. Additionally I go in for occasional ephemera. Currently on offer via Abebooks are select titles. My selection is more eclectic and off the beaten path than mainstream and predictable. Please e-mail me at marcsenacarrel@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns. I will be happy to be of service. Thank you.…
