The book records short biographies of some 2000 Officers, Non-Commisioned Officers and Other Ranks of the five Light Cavalry Regiments who served in the Crimea, 1854-1856 detailing their honours , awards and medals , with fascinating and important information on their subsequent lives , Based on 60 years research by Cannon William Murrell Lummis MC , a former 11th Hussar, Edited, Arranged and with Additional Material by Kenneth G. Wynn. The copy offered is from the library of D B Rendell CBE MC, late of the Middlesex Regiment, founder member of the Parachute Regiment and Provost Marshal (Army) with his signature in green ink to free front end paper. VG-/VG-[ book - boards mild general shelf wear and soiling, Light foxing to fore edge and to end papers. Binding sound with no annotations. D/J- Non price clipped. General light to moderate shelf rubbing and soiling with 7 mm approx tear to top of front flap fold. Now in a removable proprietary protective sleeve).
