A propos de cet article

Clinton was not only an early New York state politician of note, but a talented naturalist. These letters describe a trip along the newly completed Erie Canal, otherwise known as "Clinton's ditch", with comments on the natural history of western New York, including species of fish and wheat that Clinton discovered. 12mo, 224pp. In period green marbled boards, half calf, gilt title & simple decoration. Slightly rubbed with hemispherical waterstain to inner top margin. Stain only noticible for the first 15 pages, o/w a nice period copy. OCLC: 6225518.
