(end of title)Bound in full leather, covers are plain with a brown leather label stamped in gilt lettering on the spine. Title page is red and black ink. Dual columened. No page numbers, but each column gives the alphabetical notations for words in each column, starting with "AAL" and ending with "ZUR". Also includes at the back: "A Continuation of Mr. Collier's Supplement to the Great Historical Dictionary, &c. From 1688, to the Present Time", Printed for H. Rhodes, at the Star, the Corner of Bride-lane, Fleet-street, And T. Newborough, at the Golden-Ball in St. Paul's Church-yard, London, 1705. Addenda is also included on the last page. This book is quite large, measuring just over 15.25 inches tall x 9.5 inches wide x 2 inches thick. CONDITION: External cover shows significant wear with some of the leather peeling at the corner at the foot. Outer joints and inner hinges have cracked, yet boards remain attached. A front flyleaf has detached, yet present and laid in. Even as the printer obviously made numerous mistakes in the "signatures" (letters and numbers indicating how the paper was to be folded at the printer at the bottom of each page), this book has been collated and is complete as catchwords match consistently. Previous owner's antiquarian bookplate is affixed to the front pastedown with annotation, and a few antiquarian notes within the margins occasionally throughout. Leaves are primarily bright and quite legible. A nice antiquarian copy. Full refund if not satisfied. N° de réf. du vendeur 079631
