First edition in English in the scarce original dust jacket. 8vo. First edition in English preceding the British version by one year of Einstein's 1933 work in German, Mein Weltbild (My Worldview). The book originally was published just after he was unable to return to Germany following Adolf Hitler's rise to power, and is separated into five discrete sections Scientific, Judaism, Germany, Politics and Pacifism, and The World As I See It each comprising a variety of texts written by Einstein, among them articles, public addresses, letters, interviews, and pronouncements.
