The Author was a Hungarian scholar, columnists, and commentator, and co-founder of the Galilei Society in Hungary early in the 20th Century. Dahomey was an African Kingdom in the Niger River area. This book is based largely on the book, "Dahomey," (1938) by Melville Herskovits, and many other sources listed in the Preface. The author's economic analysis of the Kingdom of Dahomey juxtaposed next to the burgeoning economic systems of the West are unique and insightful.
