Previous owner's ink signature and some tanning on front endpaper. Light pencil on some pages, not affecting legibility of text. All other pages are lightly tanned, but otherwise clean and unmarked. As is.

The original black cloth is in excellent shape with corners square and gilt lettering on the spine as bright as if just issued. The interior is creamy-bright and completely clean, despite just a blush of toning to the endpapers. The original colorful dust jacket shows a few freckles on its interior, with a small tear at the top-edge.
