Some edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, lamination at bottom of jacket and spine lifting slightly, corners rubbed, some faint yellowing and spotting to page fore edges, not price clipped but price scribbled out in biro, no inscriptions, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg+ copy for its age in bright unfaded jacket. 121pp, illustrated. An interesting little cookbook, with fairly simple recipes, typical of the 1970s, for Brownies to use when trying to get their 'Cookery' badge. I tried the recipe for Fishcakes, and apart from the fact that I put a lot more parsley in than the recipe calls for, they were delicious and I shall use it again. Verily Anderson (1915-2010), was an author, best known for writing the screenplay of the 1960 film 'No Kidding' and for writing Brownie books for girls and genealogical books about the Gurney, Barclay and Buxton families. Quite a scarce book.
