'On the Wing' by Waldman and 'Highjacking' by Warsh (respectively their first and second books), bound tete-beche with a black sheet in the middle. The publisher was Joe Brainard, who provides a cover for each work. Warsh has said of Brainard: 'Anne and I had just married, and this was his gift.' Covers slightly rubbed, with a light crease around the spine, the corners gently bumped, and with a couple of small patches of soiling. Light wear to the page edges. Striking nonetheless, and Very Good overall. This copy has the ownership inscription of John James on both onionskin endpapers (i.e. at the front of each of the two works).
