Etat : Fair. 1964. 1st Impression. 128 pages. This is an ex-Library book. White pictorial dust jacket over brown cloth. Library copy, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Front endpaper has been removed. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with moderate foxing. Binding has remained firm. Moderate Water marks to page edges and corners. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. The unclipped dust jacket has moderate edge wear, tears and chips to edges and spine ends. Light tanning to spine and edges. Heavy water marks to edges and corners.

Spine noticeably sunned.

Institutional library stamps on endpapers and title page. Annotations on copyright page. Otherwise, internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket protected by Brodart-style sleeve (adhered to itself), not price clipped.

Publisher's leather effect red boards with gilt titles at the spine, and green coloured top edge of text block. 93 illustrations, plus 6 pages of plates. Very good in very good unclipped dust jacket. Some shelf wear, in particular to the front top edge of the jacket, but otherwise in very good condition plus.
