Ajouter au panierFirst Edition. 22 x 14.5cm. Hardcover with dustjacket, xxxiv + 574pp. First UK edition. Small unobtrusive pencil additions to the index at rear, adding page references to otherwise missing figures briefly mentioned in the text, such as Guillaume Apollinaire and Marcel Duchamp. Some foxing to fore-edges and preliminaries, otherwise internally tight. Jean Arp was a Surrealist whose poetry was an important part of his oeuvre, sympathetically translated here by Joachim Neugroschel - includes most of Arp's "nonsense poems", prose narratives, and also essays on art, artists and aesthetics.
