A pocket guide for Catholic prayer, behavior at services, and daily life for lay members of the church, circa 1925. A very good copy. Gilt edges. Soil and wear along inner fabric binding. Boards are covered in an inner fabric binding as well as a hard plastic cover on the front boards and spine -- possibly celluloid. Cover is illustrated with iconography of Jesus administering the sacrament to a praying child. Illustrated plastic cover remains intact, with some scuffing and edge wear. Front inside cover includes an inset metal Jesus on an irridescent paper cross, mounted on fabric. Previous owner's name and address are on the back free end paper. Still a nice copy of this well-loved prayer book.…

Black flexible book has faded gilt font on spine, "IHS" blind stamped into the fc, with gilt page edges, and is in GOOD Shape. Original rounded corners show some wear and rubbing as do spine ends, some shelf wear, covers are stiffening with age, gilt page edges are showing some wear as well. White eps, table of contents page missing a large corners, Both hinges streching but still holding strong, no po names or marks, clean, tight, & square, with a slight musty odor. No DJ as issued.
