Uncommon first edition of these addresses from two seminars both held in 1965 just after Eliot's death, one in Pakistan and the other in Bangladesh. Of special interest are those essays on "Eliot…in Our Context" covering such topics as "The Impact of Eliot on Bengali Criticism," "Eliot's Impact on Urdu Literature and Thought" and "Eliot's Poetry from the Point of View of Islamic Mysticism." Not usually found in hardbound form.
