Charming endpapers front and back are decorated with pictures by Cassandra Austen: 12 color portraits in circles representing all the characters mentioned throughout the book plus an extra circle with the initials J.A (SEE SCAN). All pages are effected by slight tanning. This is the first collection of Austen's juvenalia, and includes the title work, "Lesley Castle," "The History of England," a "Collection of Letters," and "Scraps." Lovely little book of the 14 year old Jane Austen's work.
