The book was published in 1958 by Hanover House in Garden City, NY. The company is no longer in operation; nor is the Convent from which the book came. The following is excerpted from the dust-jacket write-up : "One of history's most fascinating duels was the struggle to the death between Savonarola andPope Alexander VI. Sometimes thought of as the simple story of a good man and a bad man, it was actually much more complex -- and interesting -- than that.
