Cream paper-covered boards. 8vo. Boards a little soiled and marked, rubbed on corners and spine ends, gently so around edges, reading creases along spine. Hint of toning on endpapers, else internally neat and clean if a little less than bright. The author, Betty Penn-Bull was a prominent breeder of Scottish Terriers in the 1940s and President of the Scottish Terrier Breeders' and Exhibitors' Association. Her book, The Kennelgarth Scottish Terrier Book' is still widely considered as one of the most important works on Scottish Terriers.
