(though that has to be American First Edition) It's an ex-library copy and only in good condition with library markings and library wear, particularly so to all corners. It has no dust jacket. The book is 7 5/8" by 10 1/8" and has 75 pages with black-and-white and three-color illustrations throughout. "This is not just an ordinary fairy story - it is a riddle-story. First you must read the story, then guess what it means. All the magic things in it really exist in the world. Guess what each one is!" Thank you!

A mylar Brodart cover now protects it. The illustrations and decorations are elegant, as is always the case with this illustrator. Fast shipping, careful packing. ; 74 pages.
