Cloth is lightly rubbed and is lifting adjacent to front joint. Binding is sound except that half-title together with the frontis and protective tissue leaf are detached, "Tracks of Terrra Nova" map is detached. Previous owner's bookplate laid in on inside of front cover and "Geography and Travel" stamped in purple on lower inside corner, gift note for "Xmas /21" on darkened free front end-paper. Uncut (untrimmed) pages are slightly darkened but are otherwise clean. The large fold-out map has a short marginal tear at the gutter (not affecting the printed area), the fold-out maps and plan are otherwise clean and intact. Fourth Impression, December 1921.
