8vo, 507pp, with black and white photographic frontispece and 5 plans. A good hardback copy in blindstamped blue boards with gold titling and design. Light wear to head and tail of spine. Binding slightly canted. Light foxing to fore edges. Very clean endpapers. The photographic portrait plate is aged and faded but clear. It is…also heavily foxed, as is the tissue guard. The contents page is loose but not separated. This copy is inscribed 'the gift of Lady Bourchier, 1880' with the owner's name to half-title.
