Spanning nicely the era between 1955 and 1965 in San Francisco, Long droughts of Lenny Bruce, Allen Ginsberg, Kenneth Rexroth, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Gregory Corso and not forgetting Peter Orlovsky, John Wieners, Philip Lamantina, Lew Welch, Philip Whalen, Michael McClure, David Meltzer and of course Kirby Doyle. Of course there should also have been women poets and there were many and fine but that would be for another time. Excellent book in full cover photographs and vintage.
