Captain Jack Crawford, who was referred to as "The Poet Scout", was renowned as one of the finest Army Scouts of the Indian Wars, and rose to international fame as one of the stars of the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show, as it traveled the World. Most of the poetry is based on his adventures in the Wild West. Beautiful and scarce volume. There is a printed number at the end, "498". Size: Octavo.
