There is also a sentence written in ink and dated 1799 at the top of the front pastedown referencing a donation of the book to the 'Benedictines de Anges' (as far as one can read it). Condition (external): very sound for a book published over two centuries ago. Tight binding. Condition (internal): front pastedown/book block slightly loose joint. Mild to moderate tanning throughout with occasional spotting. Ink dedications etc - as above. pp. 234 (preceded by unpaginated introductory sections, followed by an Index and Vocabulorum: lengthy, also unpaginated)/8vo.
