Inscribed by Danielson to Riley: "Nice to have you aboard my magnum opus. Your decadent friend, Garth Danielson." Riley was an up-and-coming young artist, who had been illustrating fantasy novels and would later branch out to mainstream book illustration, including a collaboration with Pulitzer Prize-winning poet James Tate. By all appearances a handmade book; at the very least rare, perhaps unique. Clothbound; near fine without dust jacket, as issued. Unless otherwise noted, our first editions are first printings.
