Features the article "Mines and Mineral Resources of Contra Costa County, California" by Fenelon F. Davis and Harold B. Goldman (pp. 501-583, pl. 5 in rear pocket; 6 figs., 4 photos); 'Research in Mining and the Mineral Industries in California (pp. 585-594); and the Index to Volume 54 (pp. 595-602). The contents appear clean, complete, and securely bound. Plate 5, a large, folded Geologic Map of Contra Costa Counting showing Mines, Quarries, and Gas Wells, also appears to be in excellent condition. Original gray wraps with a sunned spine and a red underling of 'Contra Costa County" in the contents listing on the front cover. No ex-library markings!

Only graded Good because it is ex-library but it is in very nice shape and still has the map in the back pocket, which is also in excellent condition. Stamped "Department of Geography, California State College at Los Angeles, Los Angeles, Calif. 90032" on the front cover, first page, map pocket, back cover, top and bottom outer page edges. Small library label in the lower left corner of the front cover. That is the totality of library marks or relics. No soiling inside or out. Light toning to fore-edge of the front cover. Very slight wear to edges of covers. It will be bubble-wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit.
