A word from the author: This is a story written primarily for members of The Pony Club who are contemplating taking their 'B' and 'C' tests. It is not a beginner's book, but just in case it gets into the hands of a reader who is not absolutely certain of his 'Points of a Horse,' or one who has never had the opportunity of enjoying a day's hunting, I have made the Glossary at the back as comprehensive as I can, and have included in it several non-horsey terms which I have used myself but which might not be clear to everybody.
