From IIT Kharagpur and Ph.D. in Chemical Engg. from Pt.Ravishankar Shukla Unievsrity, Raipur. He has guided around 20 M.Tech. and 2Ph.D. from NIT Raipur. He has more than 25 publications in national andinternational journals and has authored a book on environmental clearance. He has worked for more than 38 years in NIT Raipur (earlier GEC, Raipur) and retired as Professor/HoD/Dean of faculty. There after, he was appointed Chairman of State Environmental Expert Committee by Govt. of India. He also served as consultant of C.G. Council of Science and Technology, Raipur.
