Ajouter au panierHardcover. Etat : Very Good. Etat de la jaquette : Fair. "Printed in Great Britain" is stamped on the copyright page. First UK Printing. Printed on heavy stock: half-title, title, pages 1-56, [1 page blank, colophon on verso; 1 blank leaf], followed by 8 pages of Methuen's publications on thinner paper. Two figures in the text (pages 49 and 51), and one footnote. Original blue cloth with gilt lines and lettering on the spine; title and lines in blind on the upper board. There is a miniscule hole at the upper joint and touches of fading to the corner tips and spine ends. The interior heavy stock is clean and bright except for several small spots (of glue?) on the half-title; top-edge colored gray-blue. The original dust jacket, printed in black, is unclipped, but is in two separate pieces, with several chips out of the heavily sunned spine and a swipe of paint covering most of the '3/6 net' price. All text on the rest of the jacket is intact. [Please see my five images of the actual book.] A small bookseller's label on the rear pastedown has left half attached to the dust jacket flap. "My only aim to-day has been to show that the human faculty of visualisation is by no means bound to capitulate to non-Euclidean geometry." (The end of the second address.) As with every book from my father's collection, tipped-in at the front is the small, attractive, acid-free bookplate pictured on my homepage. All books are wrapped with special care and are shipped promptly with tracking; international sales sent via global priority, also with tracking.
