Hardcover. Etat : Good. Kenney, John T. (illustrateur). 1st Edition. Number 6 in the Hunter Hawk series. This copy has laminated boards rather than cloth boards and a jacket. There is quite a bit of blistering to the surfaces of the laminate and the rear panel is yellowed. Browning to the page edges with some scattered spots. Faint stain to the bottom corner of one page and there is a small piece missing from the bottom corner of the rear free endpaper. There is a little browning to the pages which are otherwise generally unmarked. Jacket and interior illustrations by John T. Kenney. First printing.

More pronounced to text block edges. Binding remains firm. Pen mark to front free endpaper. Thumb-marking present. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Heavy creasing through spine. Unclipped dust jacket. Panels to dust jacket have light edge wear.

Browning to the page edges with a little spotting to the top edges. The endpapers are lightly browned with the trace of a price in pencil and two liight stains to the front free endpaper. Light spotting to the rear free endpaper. The pages are a little browned but otherwise unmarked. The price-clipped jacket has a two inch long piece missing from the centre of the spine and another one inch piece missing at the top. The front panel has a three inch closed tear at the top and another one inch tear at the top right corner and there is some chipping and heavy creases in this area. Half-inch closed tear to the top edge of the rear panel which also has some surface wear and browning. Illustrated in black and white with no credit given to the illustrator. First printing.

Etat : Good. 1962. First edition thus. 127 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over red cloth. Black and white illustrations throughout by N. Dear. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some moderate marking and tanning. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge wear with tears, chipping and creasing. Some tanning and foxing to all surfaces, particularly to spine.

Etat : Good. 1st Ed. DJ is price clipped with a few tears and creasing - one small tape repair. Book will have been read but remains clean. Cover may have light wear or slight soiling. Pages are clean with remnant of a sticker removed at ffep.

Previous owner's name in pen to the front pastedown and there are traces of writing in pencil to the front free endpaper. The endpapers are browned but the pages are otherwise generally unmarked. The price-clipped jacket has a small chip out of the bottom left corner of the front panel with quarter inch tears at the bottom right corner of the front panel and the top left corner of the rear panel. There is a little chipping to the corners, some surface and edge wear and quite a bit of browning to the reverse. Jacket and interior illustrations by Norman Battershill. First printing.
