G FIRST EDITION (Externally: Front board is lightly scuffed but bright with unimpaired pastedown illustration, a little rubbed at edges. Spine in green cloth has frog illustration under titles and over publisher's name, ends worn but no loss.Rear board is lightly rubbed and a little marked. Internally: Front hinge is cracked rev…ealing a quarter centimetre of webbing dividing the two halves of the endpapers. The whole of the internal binding is entire and tight but has become unglued from the inner spine. Pages unmarked but several are loose and the 'List of chapters' is ruckled along leading edge. 12 colour plates, all present. One illustration only has limited child's crayoning) This title appears as the last entry on 'The Famous Oz Books' list on the pre-title hence the assumption of First Edition but I'm not an expert in states or issues of Baum's book but prepared to answer any questions.
