The book has very minor shelfwear to the edges and corners of the covers, a slightly shifted spine, a small amount of separation of the binding from the spine plate at the top of the spine, patches of glued and torn paper on the interior of the covers likely from an old bookcover that had been pasted down and removed, light smudging to the edges of the textblock, an exlibris plate taped to the front endpage, and a library card envelope pasted to the back endpage, otherwise the book is in good condition with crisp, unmarked pages, a tight binding, and charming illustrations throughout. The dustjacket has a paper sticker on the spine approx 1 1/4 by 1 inch wide, the corners clipped from all flaps, and a gentle, uneven toning to the jacket most notable at the top and bottom edges, otherwise it is in very good condtiion, intact and clean, and is now in an archival protective mylar.
