This copy is bright, tight, white and square, there is some typical offsetting to the endpapers. The unclipped dustwrapper has some mild edge wear amd a small area of loss to the head of the back panel so best described very good plus condition, it has now been covered with clear, removable, archival, protective film. A collection of poems by Eleanor Farjeon which draw their inspiration from the stars. Over the poems Miss Farjeon casts her usual magic spell which turns every word into a shining jewel, and the exquisite drawings are in harmony with the poems. This copy is fom the library of actress, author and playwright Gwen Cherrell (1926 - 2019) The author has signed the f.e.p. The dustjacket has a paper sticker on the spine approx 1 1/4 by 1 inch wide, the corners clipped from all flaps, and a gentle, uneven toning to the jacket most notable at the top and bottom edges, otherwise it is in very good condtiion, intact and clean, and is now in an archival protective mylar.
