Ajouter au panierSigned by Neal Fox, Bill Bragg, Robert Rubbish, Chris Bianchi and Steph von Reiswitz along with grim little pen drawings, inscribed to "Vanessa". Oversize red hardcovers, lettered in black, with three legged man illustration to front cover, a few marks and signs of age and use, but corners still very much crisp and tight, elaborately signed by the five illustrator members of Le Gun on the half-title; the first three Le Gun cult magazines reproduced in full as one volume. NB; AS THIS IS A VERY LARGE BOOK AN EXTRA POSTAGE CHARGE WILL APPLY Established in 2004, LE GUN is an art collective consisting of five artist illustrators (Bill Bragg, Chris Bianchi, Neal Fox, Robert Rubbish, and Steph von Reiswitz) and two designers (Alex Wright and Matt Appleton) who met as graduates at London's Royal College of Arts. As a team of artists they create idiosyncratic imagery, which blends a punk, occult, pop and surrealist aesthetic. As well as being the producers of their cult self-titled magazine, the group is internationally recognised for their enigmatic installations, design projects and art shows. The particular style they developed, in which the sum is greater than the parts, is what makes LE GUN's group aesthetic so distinctive. Their independent narrative publication provides a common ground for both emerging and established artists, illustrators, writers and poets. (Text by Bronwyn Carter) The spirit of Le Gun. " I fire my revolver early, when I leave the blockhouse broad, wearing a red and brown shirt - the dog barks wildly - and the parrot sings out in Englis."( George Grosz, 1918) NB: AS THIS IS AN EXTRA LARGE AND HEAVY BOOK IT WILL REQUIRE ADDITIONAL DELIVERY CHARGES.
