Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Unclipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears and creasing. Loss to spine ends and edges. Visible tanning to spine. Some rubbing to surfaces. Scuffing to edges.

Hard Cover. Etat : Good. No Jacket. Plain green cloth covers with the title, author and publisher in gilt. There is wear to the top and bottom of the spine. There is some staining to the front cover. There is a B&W photograph of Anne Thackeray Ritchie as a frontispiece. There is a small name sitcker on the inside front cover and light foxing to the front free pages.

D/W is a little scuffed with light grubbiness to back cover. B/W frontis of Anny. The letters of Anny thackeray as compiled by her daughter and first published by John Murray in 1924. An additional lettter - "The Robert Browning Letter" is also included as well as quotes from Virginia Woolfe and Edward Gosse. Book.
