Also has a correction in the author's hand to a caption on one of the plates. Rev. Gaudin and his wife were Methodist missionaries who commenced among the Cree in 1891.

With inscription from the author on half-title which reads: "With good wishes to Mrs. Jolliffe(?) from the author, S. D. Gaudin June 18, 1943." Text block is tight and clean. Very good condition. very good Detailing his journies with the Cree Indians of Northwest Canada, Forty-Four Years with the Northern Crees puts together the Memoirs of Rev. S. D. Gaudin, D.D. Covering his, and his wife's, contributions to the Northwest Cree's way of life.
