In very good beige pictorial paper covered boards with blue image of a horses sheltering under trees to front with blue titles. The boards are clean, flat and very tight; slight wear to spine ends. The text block has colour illustrations by C. F. Tunnicliffe on most right hand pages and in very good condition. The pages are firm, flat and not marked.No dedications etc. In good pictorial dust jacket with colour image of squirrels and birds in woodland and black titles to front. The jacket is quite clean, the edges are slightly worn, with small closed tear from top of rear flap. Price clipped. School stamp on front flap.
