Vallely The book is in Very Good Used Condition (VGUC) with signs of previous ownership and use. The book is square with nearly sharp corners, and the binding is solid and tight with no loose or missing pages. There are some stray marks in a couple of places (which could have been left when the book was printed), but no pen or pencil marks were observed anywhere in the book. The pages and dustjacket have browned/tanned, and the pages are somewhat brittle. There is chipping on some pages, on the dust jacket and on the book itself, particularly at the top of the spine. The illustrated endpapers have split along the spine, completely in the front and a little in the back, but the pages are still fully attached. Ginger Rogers' mother, Lela, wrote this young adult mystery novel featuring her daughter as the heroine.
