Red Cloth Boards. Etat : Very Good. No Jacket. Undated volume, circa 1887, in the Cassell's Red Library series. 390pp plus publisher's list to rear. Red cloth boards decorated with black design, gilt lettering to spine. All edges tinted red. Slight bumping to spine and corners, spine a little faded, minor marking to boards, darkened panels to verso of endpapers and former owner's name to endpaper, dated 1890, otherwise very good copy. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Book.

Full-Leather. Etat : Good. Contemporary Black Morroco Full-Leather Binding with Gilt Facsimilie Signature to front Gilt Lettering to spine.and Gilt Linear Border. Rounded Corners. Gilt Decorative inner Border. Endpapers Marbled. All page edges bright gilt. Frontispiece Illustrated with a Statue of Longfellow. Text arranged in Double columns. Introduction and Notes by Walter Jerrold. Illustrated with 21 Full Page Plates, 3 of them in Colour. 934 Pages, 800g, 7 1/2" Tall. Undated Edition, probably early 20th C. Closed tear to leather down right side of spine (for 3/4 of the length) and a small one on the left side. Hinges sound & Binding firm. No inscriptions, pages in nice, clean condition, just a few spots of foxing to a few pages. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Copyright Edition. Near fine copy in gilt-blocked full leather over cushioned boards. Inner dentelles. All edges gilt. Spine bands and panel edges somewhat dulled and rubbed as with age.
