      Hardcover. Etat : Good. Pictorial boards are a bit worn around edges and a bit grubby. Covers depicts "Four Merry Maids" by E. Brice. Lovely colour frontis. Some pencil inscription to half title page. Some light foxing to some pages but overall the book is in good condition for its age and type. First story is "Carry On!" by Bernard Rutley. "Oxford Books" series.

Etat : Very Good. 64 pages including stiff card covers, one of 5000 printed in loose association with the 1951 Festival of Britain. illustrated with lovely woodcuts, some full page by John Cunliffe. A sticky back label inside font cover of a Roy Frost of Stockport and a little dusty look to the covers are the only issues. Contents fine, small slim quarto. *NOTES: Has all local council details past and present + arranged Trade Hall concerts for the year with the artistes involved inc Sir John Barbirolli, individual soloists named with biogs, the articles written by Manchester writers and dignitaries, the Lord Mayor was William Collingson, adverts for Kendal's, Timpson's Shoes and the Manchester Guardian full page and other classified ads.
