It was printed for those who attended the Typocrafters' 60th anniversary meeting from October 3-5, 1997. The essay traces Bruce Rogers' career as a typographer, with special focus on the development of the Centaur typeface. Printed in Centaur and Arrighi types on Mohawk Superfine paper, and bound in Hehnemühle Bugra wrappers. Designed, printed, and bound by David P. Wall. The typography is by the notable American book designer Bruce Rogers (1870-1957), who "was appreciated in his lifetime. In addition to several honorary degrees, in 1948 he was awarded a gold medal from the American Academy of Arts and Letters for distinction in the graphic arts.
