Part of a series issued by the West China Union University, Harvard-Yenching Institute. Very scarce. The double-page plates begin with a Panoramic View of Mount Omei from the South Gate of Omei-hsien to the Summit, showing all the defiles, watercourses, monasteries, peaks, cliffs, and ancient relics which must be passed. The remaining plates provide a look at each of the 72 monasteries of P'u-hsien, showing the architecture, grounds, paths, etc. The corresponding text, in English and Chinese, provides a detailed walking tour with historical annotations.
