Ornate gilt dentelles on the page edges and the inner turn-ins. 5 gilded raised bands to the spine with tooled titl…es in the second compartment and gilt flowers and foliage in the other compartments. Marbled page edges, pastedowns and endpapers. Condition very good, title label missing from spine, a little discolouration to covers, prize label on front pastedown, contents clean, complete and intact. With black and white illustrations throughout. With Illustrations by The Author, John Leech, Frank Dicksee, Linley Sambourne, F. Bernard and Frederick Walker (illustrateur).
