The formation of the Round Table first happens here in Wace and are Tolkien like Elves actually called such at Arthur's birth in this Layamon. Great copy here includes both Wace and Layamon! These were Geoffrey of Monmouth's "History: put into the Norman French of the Isle of Jersey and the rough "English" of Layamon. Since 1977 Three Geese In Flight wrapping our Arthurian and Celtic Tolkien inspired books with love and respect.
