Hardbound. Green publishers' cloth. Vol. 1: xxvi pp., 205 pp., 44 bw plates. Vol. 2: xiv, 317 pp., 51 bw plates. Vol. 1 Examines Early Christian Art, while Volume 2 examines Giotto and The Giottesques. Very nice copies, library marks notwithstanding. VG-, all volumes are ex-library in uniform green buckram with gold spine lettering, ornate art library bookplates, small labels at base of spines. Hardly used.

All in original green cloth with gilt titles on spines and covers. Minor light marks to cloth on two volumes, some foxing to frontispieces and titles pages and pre-post endpapers. contents all clean tight and hardly read. Minor foxing to very edges of paper, edges uncut. *Volume 1 has 205 pages inc index + 43 photo plates and illustrations and a biography of the authors. Volume 2. 317 pages inc index + 51 photo plates and ills. Volume 3. 1908 300 pages inc index and 41 photo plates and ills. Volume 4. 1911 has 384 pages inc index + 54 photo plates and ills. Volume 5. 1914 has 528 pages inc index + 74 photo plates and ills Volume 6. 1914 has 200 pages inc index + 41 photo plates and ills. Addenda slips and editors corrections with asterisks all as should be. Nice set. NOT ex-Library, NOT worn at edges, volume 4 has the worst foxed title and frontis, volumes 5+6 are free. VG+ set and with these are added free (as it were) Volumes 2+3 of North Italian Paintings 1912 uniform with these 6 and edited by Tancred Borenius both VG+ condition (8 in total) PLEASE NOTE Postage should be an extra £45-65 overseas.
